Subject: [CR] Cirque Roommate - To fill your room or mine

I'm trying this one more time.

I have a room. Two Queen sized beds. Non smoking room. At the Cirque rate for Friday and Saturday evenings. I would like to share said room with a fellow CR lister, so we will both have more money available to spend on on-topic goodies - or would be fine with filling your empty spot in an equivalent room.

Obviously, I'd prefer to split the cost both nights - which would work out to roughly $130.00 per person for the two days after figuring in the local 11% tax. If I can't find a match for that, I'd rather split the cost of one night, than get to pay the full price and stay in the room alone both nights. If you're not going to smoke in the room, or host a noisy party - that makes you a worthy candidate.

I am willing to offer the following to sweeten the pot a bit.

Last year, Harvey Sachs introduced me to Saranac Ginger Beer. I've got a six pack that I'm bringing, and my roommate gets one cold one per night, or three between two nights. If I drank alcohol, I'd offer stronger stuff, but I have what I have.

I'm also offering completely safe transport of your bikes (up to four), to the fairgrounds on Sunday morning. I'll also talk up your bike for the "People's Choice" award, and compliment your riding on any rides I accompany you on. Roommate also gets to take "Crayola" or "Shadowfax" for a spin if they'd like, and will also get free unicycling lessons.

How can you possibly beat all this - unless it's being privileged to partake in the sumptuous, free breakfast that the Best Western extends to all their guests? (Seriously. This is the best breakfast spread I've run into from among about 7 chains I've stayed at)

Hurry folks. Time's ticking. Contact me at this e-mail address ASAP (off list) if you're interested.

TIA,

John Barry (who only has to make three turns to get to the Cirque site) Mechanicsburg, PA USA
