Subject: [CR] For Sale NOS 61cm Guerciotti and 22in 1947 Holdsworth plus classic bars

Hi everyone,

Offered for sale to CR members are two more frames a NOS 61cm Guerciotti from the mid 80s and a Holdsworth Cyclone from about 1947 with very attractive lugs. And there's a number of classic handlebars several very nice ones from the 50s especially the Dawes Concorde and a couple of quite unusual early Cinelli bars.

I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller’s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer.

With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers. All have pictures you can check out on Photobucket.

GUERCIOTTI ROAD FRAME 61cm c1985 NOS Seat Tube (ctc): 61cm Top Tube (ctc): 60cm Rear dropout width: 126mm Wheel size: Sprints or 700C Frame tubing: Columbus SP Bottom Bracket Threads: Italian This Guerciotti frame is NOS though I think the paint is not original. It has all the classic Guerciotti features such as the star shape cutout in the lower head lug and bottom bracket and the engraved top eyes. The paint is is in very nice condition but there are some chips noticeably on the ends of the head tube - these could be carefully touched up. No fork. 125 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Guerciotti-SL.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Guerciotti-SL-dets.jpg

HOLDSWORTH CYCLONE ROAD FRAME 22in c1947 Fancy Lugs Seat Tube (ctt): 22in Top Tube (ctc): 22in Rear dropout width: 110mm Wheel size: 26in, Sprints or 700C (brake drop is 48mm) Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 DB almost certainly Bottom Bracket Threads: English Seatpost size: 27.2mm Frame number: 7909 The Holdsworth Cyclone was Holdsworth’s top model for quite a number of years - this one features really rather nice lugs which look quite superb after the frame is restored. This frame is in sound condition (it has one dent to the top tube shown in one of the photos) but does require repainting. Holdsworth decals are available from http://www.hlloydcycles.com/ I can deliver it free of charge for the successful bidder to Argos Cycles who I consider to be one of the best frame painters in the UK. Details on Argos’ prices can be found at http://www.argoscycles.com/renovation-pricelist.htm 75 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Holdsworth-Cyclone.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Holdsworth-Cyclone-dets.jpg

DAWES CONCORDE BARS Rare & beautiful, excellent. From the 1950s. It is not very well known that in the 1950s Dawes manufactured a wide range of handlebars and brakes for aftermarket fitment. They were really a quite popular choice in England until the early 1960s. The Concorde shape was very similar to the Strata South of France bars bending away quickly from the centre and with not very much forward reach and inspired by the bars used by Rene Vietto, the French Tour de France star. They were attractively engraved each side of the stem centre bulge. These are in excellent condition and the standard 15in width with a 25.4mm clamp diameter. The engraved sections are almost unmarked. These bars look absolutely fabulous with only about a 1/4 of the tops covered in tape - it accentuates the curves and the gorgeous engraving. 45 GBP

GB RANDONNEUR BARS - I have two very good pairs without engraving - one are about 39.5cm wide ctc and the others 41 cm wide ctc. 15 GBP each
