Chrome works well as a finish if it is done properly. If you are proposing to take a frame that is now painted and have it chromed, that is a different matter. Paint hides a lot of sins, and chrome doesn't. The frame may not survive the process. You may want to search the framebuilder's list for the recent discussion. Eric Keller Boalsburg, PA
