I've recently picked up a Holdsworth Professional from the wonderful ebay (been after one in my size for nearly ten years!) and would like to find out a few things about the frame. It's built from 531 Professional so that would place it no earlier than early eighties would it not? It should fall into your KOF category! It's a dark blue colour (with Professional in a script font on the top tube) so I'm assuming that it's from the Marlboro take over period (I'm going on information from Norman Kilgariff's wonderful site, as it looks like the previous Holdsworth's were available in one colour only?!) but it has a made in London, Holdsworthy decal at the base of the seat tube. Could it be a custom colour/special order?
The serial numbers are: 064002 on the bottom bracket and 063449 on the fork steerer.
Any information would be gratefully received.
