Subject: [CR] Help with dating vintage Colnago frame

First, thanks to all who wrote regarding the Colnago I wrote about recently.  I now own it, and would like to know more about it.

It's turquoise blue, with the numbers 14 on the campy dropout, and the single number 3 on the steerer of the fully chromed fork (with Campy dropouts).   There are large clubs on either side of the fork crown, with "Colnago" inset around the clubs.  Each tang has two holes, one larger than the other. The only club cutout on the frame is in the bottom bracket shell.  Lugs are outlined in black.

Braze-ons include one set of bottle bosses, a set of downtube shifter bosses, bottom bracket cable guides (above, not below), two top tube cable guides, and a cable stop for the rear derailleur housing.  Decals are simple and unadorned: black with yellow outlining.  Inside the C on the seat tube decal is a black clover, but not on the downtube decal.  There is the world champion stripe with the words Record Ora Mexico 1972 in the stripes.  There is also a Prodotti Campagnolo oval decal on the top tube, and a blue Colnago factory or shop decal on the downtube, with the Milan address and phone of Colnago office in white lettering.  Alas, there is no tubing decal, which is worn away.

Any help with dating this frame would be very welcome.  Can provide pictures if necessary.  Forgive me if this is basic knowledge.  I'm new to Colnagos.

Thanks.
