Subject: [CR] Nuovo Record front derailleur Q (phase 2)

Thank you to those who replied to my question. I realized after I sent off the original post that I should have supplied more info. Here's what I have in mind.

I'm considering drilling either a 110 or 74 bcd pattern in a Nuovo Record drive side arm so I can get a smaller chain ring on there, like a 34, 32, or 30, to accompany the 50 or 51 I'll be using as the big ring. In the back I'll be running a 7 speed 13-32 freewheel. Most of you are more experienced at experimenting with odd combos than I am, thus the original question. Will the N.R. front derailleur handle all this?

Which leads to another question. If I recall, isn't there someone on this list who provides the crank arm drilling service? And obviously I'll need c.r. spacers as well, so I'll need someone to make 'em. I'd do it myself except for the very frustrating fact that I am a machinist with no machine tools. arrrggghhh

Thanks again.
