Subject: [CR] For Sale GUARINI 57cm ROAD BIKE c 1978

Hi everyone,

Offered to CR members as a complete bike is this rather beautiful Guarini - another of the much lesser known makers from Italy but obviously a master of the craft. This bike would obviously be worth more split up into parts - but I do hate doing that to a machine that is so original...

Bikes cost 115 GBP to ship to the USA. Within the UK the cost will be 18 GBP.

I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller\u2019s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer. I will always combine shipping in order to reduce costs.

With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers.

GUARINI ROAD BIKE 57cm c1978 Seat Tube (ctc): 57cm Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm Rear dropout width: 126mm Wheel size: 700C Frame tubing: Columbus This very beautiful Italian built road bike dates from around 1978. It is in very good condition and has lots of rather beautiful features - just take a look at the engraved head tube, slotted rear dropouts, slotted and cut out gear levers, slotted brake levers, seatstay and chainstay joints to the rear dropouts, engraved top eyes and pantographed Gs into the head lugs. The chrome plating is in very sound condition with just a little wear in a few places, notably on the seatstays and very good paintwork which does have some marks but most of which could easily be touched up. It is fitted with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record brakes (the earlier type with flat Q/Rs, chainset, front and rear derailleurs and a Super Record seatpost. Pedals are Gipiemme and bars and stem are 3TTT. Allin all this is a wonderful example of Italian craftsmanship which is just as just and probably better than the big name Italian makers such as Colnago. 445 GBP
