Subject: [CR] BSA Gold Column

I have been trying to get a good look at a BSA Gold Column that I might be able to buy.

It is a fixed/free flip flop hub on the rear, and has the BSA cantilever brakes intact.
>From the archives, I guess they use a 90mm OLD on the front hub. Cottered cranks are in good shape, as is the paint and the chrome can be cleaned up. Rims are alloy, and probably 27" with white sidewalls and redish tread. I want to get it out of the dark and take some pictures.

Any idea when these were made?

If I can buy it, I am going to clean it up and repack everything and ride it.

The plastic mudguards are not in real good shape, and I hope it is not bent.

Hope to get it in the light sometime next week with camera in hand.
