I have an old "midget" racer which I bought in about 1990 or '91 from Mel Pinto Imports in Alexandria VA. It was never painted because those folks told me it had been a "show" bike where the company wanted people to see the quality of the brazing on the lugs. It has smaller gears on it (it's a midget racer after all) and one of those old plastic simplex rear derailleurs. I have the decals that say "Romani" but little else to go by. I would like to sell this bike but I have no idea if it is pre 1983 or not. My guess is that it is but I don't know how to verify it. Can I list it or do you need more information /pictures of the bike? Please let me know.
