Jan; I am very pumped on what you said for stages in USA on classic bikes. Glad I missed a lot of the race bikes doing other things in my life. Trying to finish two bikes now for long rides with pictures of scenery planned. This will grow just like Harleys with bags and windshields did. Glad to be ahead of the curve. At my local bike shop there is a bike that they have used and the guy who knows about it is on vacation, but he has caught on not to just let it go for nothing and when he gets back it will be interesting to see why he values it. The bike is one of many that I have let go out of my humble abode and fits me well but since I am looking for one now of course they are scarce. The classic bikes were made for riding anywhere you want anytime something many people have forgot. I have never seen a person riding a full touring bike in the country not having fun. Also parts need to be fixed on the fly sometimes so this will be a factor soon too! If you always need to go on a planned ride that is organised is this true freedom? This is one of the last things the government has not fully ruined yet and they will try.
