Clearly there are still killer deals to be had for the astute/lucky collector. The 56cm. Bruce Gordon that sold within the last week comes to mind. The Dave Moulton at around the same price ($800) is another. I purchased a nice Holdsworth touring bike on flea bay for around $400. The seller said it could use a paint job. When I got the bike it was just grimy and need some paint correction. I also picked up a Moto Le Champion in original condition for $400 but then spent around $200 more for Univ. NOS levers and hoods.

I'll admit I'm a bottom feeder here, and the only frame builders I will be spending large coin on are the American builders. I am convinced that they are the best in the world and at the top of their craft. Hopefully my custom frameset is on schedule to be built in the future.
