While we were staring in awe of the Vampire Convincible at Larz this past weekend, my husband told me his great grandfather worked at Elswick Hopper building bikes through the 50s and his grandfather had a shop in town (Barton on Humber) where he sold them and Raleighs through the 70s or so. The family got rid of the couple Raleigh Carriers in the barn that he can remember and probably a few other gems, like an Elswick. Anyway, on a long shot, I'm hoping someone might help me reunite my husband with his heritage. He's also a huge fan of the Lincoln Imp in the Lincoln Cathedral, so that would be really appropriate. We head back to England once a year if there's someone over there who has one. 21.5" frame ideal. Must have the Imp decals.
