Subject: [CR] 'Churchill' frame

Another call for help please in identifying a frame the forum helped me before and that has led me into a whole new world, or rather evisit one I thought ended around 1970 for me!

I recently bought a '1946 Handmade Churchill Frame'. I 've posted some hurried photos here http://picasaweb.google.com/kenf300/Churchill I wanted the period seat stem and some other parts for my Hill Special period rebuild. (Really been bitten by the bug there - just bought a Blackpool one - nobody told me steel could be an obsession! )

The Churchill frame has bits of masking tape on it from an ancient repaint and judging from the fluff in every orifice has been stored under a bed for a few years! The parts however, had been covered in grease prior to storage

I can't find any information about 'Churchill' and don't know if this was a model name or a maker. The simplex changer seems to be around the right date although according to Hilary's list on the main site the the code on the Williams chain ring is 1964 although it doe have the stamp 45 which is the number of teeth.

I'll probably sell it on as my new hobby is proving quite expensive;-) but would like to know what I have before I decide what to do with it.

Thanks
