<<Mark, never heard of that maker but what is a "celluloid paint job"? >>

I knew the moment I wrote "celluloid paint job" that it was exposing myself as a noob. My LBS owner referred to the paint as being of cellulose and 'unlike modern paint'. Cellu*loid* was a slip of the keys.

The owner of my LBS has a nice looking vintage cycle in his lock-up garage. It has decals and head badge of 'Clifton Cycles'.

I can't find anything on the web about this marque. I suspect that it there was a shop called 'Clifton Cycles' possibly that rebadged the work of another frame builder.

There are few clues about the frame. It has curly ornate lugs. A celluloid paint job. Possibly 1950s. At some point it was equipped with Campagnolo parts.

I thought I would check here just in case.
