My Spidey Sense tells me that whatever the inflation calculator predicts, ..... A mint Fuji Finest with upgraded components will not bring more than $1,000 on Ebay and if it did command $1,500 it would have to compete with Colnagos and Gios Torinos and Raleigh Competitions that in recent months brought less than that. My suggestion is for the owner to hold onto the Fuji. It's a nice bike but it wouldn't surprise me if no one will pay more than $800 which would be an insult for the seller.
