Subject: [CR] Bridgestone T500 Touring Bike--a Grant bike?

Just saw a Bridgestone T500 for sale today. Metallic blue with a chromed fork. Did these really come with fully chromed fork? I ask because the front rim, which looked like a replacement, was not an Araya matching the rear Araya rim, which did look original. 4130 triple butted cro-mo tubing was nicely welded together. Diacompe cantilever breaks and levers front and back. Sakae SA cranks with three rings. Sugino shifters on the down tube. Shimano Acera rear derailleur for five cogs. The Acera looked like it could be a replacement. Were these T500s from Grant's era? Is this bike on our CR timeline? Looks like it could be iffy.
