John: I'm not planning on the "All British Cycling Event" as MN is a bit far to travel for a bike ride, however I wonder if you or any list member can educate me about a phenomenon I've been noticing called the "Tweed Ride". Apparently there have been Tweed rides in San Franciso and another one is being organized for Boston, Mass in the near future: http://chiccyclist.blogspot.com/2009/08/boston-tweed-ride.html

I just may have to hunt down a source for a pair of plus 4 breeks and an appropriate Rudge or RRA if this trend presents itself to the DC area...

Huh. Looked pretty classic to me.

As long as we're talking Raleighs and such, is anyone planning on attending the "All British Cycling Event" in New Brighton MN in September (http://www.abcetour.com)?

I've made my motel reservations and will be bringing my 1972 Raleigh Superbe: http://os2.dhs.org/~john/superbe/
