I bought a nifty bike off the Denver CL about a year ago, and I just can't get a good position on it. So it's time to go.
The Lenton is a Reg Harris model with Racelite hubs and a Benelux rod derailleur on the front, Campy Gran Sport on the back. Lugged stem (or at least lugged -looking), heron's head crankset, tatty gold paint but complete decals. Mafac racers with Weinmann levers. About 56 cm, c-c, and short stemmed. Cool bike, but too small and I don't need any other projects. I'd include a Benelux rear derailleur and a set of wingnuts for the hubs. Oh, it has Bluemels Populars too. Brooks B15 in truly crappy shape. I'd throw in the anachronistic Weinmann CPs that came on it too. Front wheel is not original. All bearings are repacked and reballed, good tires, new cotton tape. It's a nice bike, but there's just not enough of it for the big-boned gal.
I paid $475, and would like to get that back. Shipping at actual cost. Photos on request.
