The GB Coureur 66 brakes were made by Altenburger, and badged as GB's for distribution by them, presumably to save GB the cost of developing their own design. There's a pair of NOS Altenburgers on UK eBay at the moment at GBP8.50 - see item 220470816021. I'm amazed at the prices they've fetched, since I've never known them to be considered as being of exceptional merit or collectability over here, but maybe I'm out of touch?

I was fortunate to get a pair for considerably less, but I've been out bid on the last two sets I've seen on the UK Ebay at over $150 and I never see them on our Ebay. In fact one auction closed out at over $200 for a really grubby looking pair. I'm kind of in need of the rear brake for my latest project, but somehow over a hundred bucks seems a little stiff. and we're not talking NOS. Maybe it's just the supply and demand thing. I did manage to score the appropriate brake levers in near mint condition though.
