The Super LJ is not original. The SLJ was introduced sometime in the early 70's. It was pretty new on the market when I upgraded to one from the original plastic Simplex Criterium when I bought my LeJeune F-70 new circa 1973. I believe the first Peugeot model to come with SLJ as OE was the PY-10 when it was introduced around 1975.

A 60's PX-10 would have had plastic Simplex Criterium derailleurs. Some had the Simplex Criterium shifters familiar in the 70's, but the Huret-like shifters you mention also appeared on PX-10 in the 60's. Not sure if they were an earlier version of the Criterium shifters or a different model. 60's PX-10's typically had Mafac "Dural Forge" brakes with half-hood levers, Stronglight 93 or 63 cranks, Lyotard pedals, Stronglight HS, probably model P3, Normandy Competition hubs with Simplex QR. Sewup rims, brand may have varied. Some were Mavic. Superchampion may also have appeared but less frequently than in the 70's. The rims on my 1967 PX-10 I believe are just marked "Record" - I don't know who made them. Badged steel Simplex seatpost. Ideale 90, or maybe Ideale 80. In the 70's many PX-10's sold in the US had Brooks Pro, but I doubt this was the case in the 60's. And of course the infamous AVA bars and stem.
