Jack Taylor did use the striping tool; which may explain why they are somewhat crude in comparison to a really careful hand pinstripe job. Remember the relative situation. The Taylor bikes are handmade production frames for the most part. Our "super pinstriper" takes about 3 hours to do the job and generally costs around $200 to $300.

At risk of being branded a heretic, I'll simply offer this link.  I know he was old there but it doesn't look like Jack's using a Mack Sword brush to me.  I have seen other pics of JT using such a tool.  (GASP) Go to the top of page two for picks and quote from JT himself.
