Well, in my opinion, that is not a Hetchins... So many things are dissimilar; I would say that is an energetic hobbyists effort. The radius of the curly stays are different, ditto for the fast back seat stay style.

This is my first post to this list. I am somewhat of a classic / vintage bike collector. Last week, I picked up a frame that has me perplexed. It clearly has Hetchins characteristics, including curvy stays and ornate lugs, however, I have not been able to identify it from the historic site.

For background, it came equipped with some Pat. 73 Campy Record and has Italian threading. Could this be an Italia?

Do you think this is a Hetchins or a one-off by a frame builder who obviously had some skill?

I appreciate your taking a look at the photos.
