Hi Robert. It seems odd that a Hetchins would have an Italian threaded bottom bracket, but i don't know. If the shell is 68 mm wide instead of 70mm then it seems more likely that the bike started w/ an English shell that was retapped Italian, perhaps because of stripped threads. I tend to agree w/ Matt and Dale that it's an homage, though they know much more than i do. Perhaps the initials in the head lugs offer a clue. It clearly has Hetchins characteristics, including curvy stays and ornate lugs, however, I have not been able to identify it from the historic site. For background, it came equipped with some Pat. 73 Campy Record and has Italian threading. Could this be an Italia?
