As one fortunate to own a McLean bike, I agree, the finish on this one is very UN-McLean.

\r?\n> Whew! McLean would roll over in his grave if he saw that
\r?\n> frame! He would never have gone along with that paint job!
\r?\n> He was sooo conservative! And the chrome must have been done
\r?\n> later too, AFAIK, he never agreed to have chrome done on any
\r?\n> of his frames. He hated chrome! He also painted hisall
\r?\n> ?frames in North Caroilina, not through CyclArt, so no
\r?\n> question, that frame has been repainted...?
