Weren't those upright seat tube angles kind of an '80s trigeek fad?

Interesting bike, and glad to finally hopefully figure out what brand- Zullo- those "Super Record" panto bits that pop up on ebay come from. But why the Chesini shifters and seatpost on the ebay bike? Was there a Chesini-Zullo connection, or are this panto bits unambiguously wrong for that bike?
