Folks,
I ran into a friend in Alameda who still has his 1972 Schwinn Continental and says it is in pretty good shape.
It's "bright blue" and the tallest size that Schwinn made at the time. (John is about 6' 2" tall.)
I have not seen this bike, but John and I are both curious to know what it might be worth today. (He remembers paying about $120 for it.)
Please email me off-list with any suggestions or comments. (I have no idea whether he wants to sell it, and this is not a "fishing expedition." I'm just curious, and so is John, the original owner, who bought it locally at Stone's Cyclery.)
