My first (and last, so far) Bianchi was the same gorgeous blue. I bought it in about 1964 for $109 instead of a Schwinn Varsity ($69.99 and 10 pounds or so heavier). It was an all-Campi Valentino bike (push-rod front derailleur, cottered cranks, etc.).

I always loved that color, and the closest I have seen in production bikes since has been the blue that Peugeot used in the early 1970s. Nice color, but not as sexy as my Italian first-love's...
