CR,

I am still in love with Stronglight's 93 as well as the 86BCD mod 99 and its SR clone. (non CR content: I am daily using an SR 86BCD crank on my OT MTB with 9 speed chain and it works great with new Highpath Engineering rings from the UK.) However on my on topic Eisentraut, I am using the 93 with a custom ring combo for the steep hills here, 51-37, again from Highpath as that combination never was available from Stronglight. The rings shift perfectly on a 6 speed SunTour FW and Crane derailleur. This is a rider. As per the drillium era, the 93 has the inner ring removed a la Super Record Campy as well as being drilled and polished.

So, the parts are period correct, but hot-rodded a bit, not unlike was done back in the day.
