Le Cycle 10/1964 shows the "new" Ideale 90" saddle. I'd have to check the actual magazine, but it's likely that it was introduced at the 1964 Paris bike show as a 1965 model. The October issue usually has the big report from the Paris bike show...

Saddles get swapped between bikes frequently (most riders have a favorite saddle they use for special, long rides), so it's not surprising if the saddle on your Peugeot isn't original. I have one saddle that has been on four bikes so far, another on three.
