Seems to me that pic/description of the bottom bracket shell might prove useful.

____________________________________________________ "I`ll try again!!Interesting alright, a respray for sure,and looks as if the repair work was just painted over,the front head lugs were seen on late `68.`69 Colnago`s but were not that common,I have a picture of Michele Dancelli on his Milan San Remo winning Colnago that has the same head lugs from 1970,the forks may be original too,Scott Davis sold a Colnago awhile back that had no clubs in the down tube but I think they were thestandard prugnant type, so there are versions that do come out of the factory,special orders perhaps,the forks seem to fit this frames time line,repair repaint with period corect decals should end up with a nice Colnago albeit a slightly different version,well gotta go the bus is due to take me to work,see ya all in a week
