Hmmmm.... well, I've done a bit more research on the web. Perhaps I'm wrong about the spelling of his first name. I've seen it spelled both ways -- Francesco and Francisco -- even the Classic Rendezvous website uses both spellings. Moreover, looking closely at the stylized signature decal on the top tube of my own Cuevas bike, the letter looks more like an "i" than an "e".

As for his sons, I've seen references to Fernando, Paco and Andres, but none to a son named Francisco.

Does anyone know for sure?
