Really a beautiful bike on offer and thanks for the link. Freek chiming in reminded me of his bike story and pics which I find very interesting and I also have an early 70's Masi that is decaled as a Guerciotti and the twin plate crown has been filled ( a real twin plate not faux ). The bike has traces of yellow in the seat tube and in the BB shell so I assume that it was at one time painted in Sammontana colours. Maybe it was a team rider who moved on to a Guerciotti sponsored team and wanted to keep his bike? It has the name "Nino" written in faded felt pen in one of the seat stay caps. A mystery but I kind of like it the way it is.
