I posted pictures and a brief report of the my blog- http://bikeville.blogspot.com . The old bicycle swap meet is different than the "new" bike swap meet held inside the velodrome. The old one takes place in the field behind the velodrome and is a much more traditional swap meet. Some out of state vendors arriving the night before, and through the night with a lot of trading happening before sunrise. It deals with a wider range of bicycles compared to the velodrome swap, that caters to shops selling closeout parts/bikes and private sellers bringing bikes within the last 10 years or so.
Amongst the large selection of Schwinns and Shelbys, there were Paramounts, a Drysdale, claud Butler, and other CR worthy machines.
and the weather was better than perfect.
