Nice to see a member from the Dallas area. I grew up there and packed on many miles throughout the city from the early 1960's through the 1990's. It is really a fun place to ride (or it was 20 years ago). I will second your comment about Robbie's hoods. They are so nice and strong. I buy them in the 3 pair quantity. They are much better than the real thing. Where do you ride? I have a friend who is about to start back in the Richardson trails around the Campbell Rd and UTD area. I grew up riding in the White Rock Lake, Audelia-Church Road area and ventured out as far as the Oklahoma border and Lake Tawakoni areas. I actually graduated from Lake Highlands High School. My wife, children and I are living in the La Grange, TX area and I am working on my Masters at Texas State U. in San Marcos. It is just nice to see a fellow Metroplex cyclist. I had a brain/spine injury in 2003 and this ended my cycling career, but I like to look at the beautiful European machinery. I hope and pray that some day I will get to ride again (that is now my life dream). Take care and watch out for cars, Mark!
