Hello all about helyett eBay # 280410458517 for me this is top of the line they are 2 production Helyett and Helyett speciale speciale was top of the line. this frame have the beautiful fork the rest of the bike was mount with other items, i guess the seller have the frame but not the rigth items and see the ebay price of blue helyett Jaouen Bazin Wissous France

This is a beautifully preserved bike & very interesting to look at. My guess that it is not a top-of-the-line model. Was there perhaps something (model name) above "Speciale"?

I would like to have seen the process used to make the upper seat stay ends. Looks to me that rather than use the "top eye" plugs or caps or plates, the builders somehowpressed/squeezed the seat stay tube and collapsed it into concavity, then shaped it into the spoon point we see.... It's a moderately elegant result using a relatively crude process.
