John,

Now there's one I've never heard of before; the bloody large magnet trick! That must be some special magnet to putt that off; or in this case, pull it out.

A few years ago Richard at Cycelanalyst in Denver removed a large dent from the down tube on a 50s Claud Butler 531 frame with a bloody large magnet! he just rubbed the thing over the dent and pop out it came! No paint damage at all. I do have a small dent in my KOF 2005 Mercian built with Reynolds 725 tubes, in the top tube where the bars swung round and hit it!. Does anyone think the magnet would work on this tubing? its a long drive to Denver to take the chance, Cheers John Crump OldanddentedBrit, Parker. Co USA
