I dunno about you guys, but that price is absolutely baffling to me. Nice bike, sure, maybe even worth a couple kilobucks...but 6 GRAND?
And few original parts. Condition of the frame was superb, admittedly, and I'm sure that's a large factor in the final pricing. Who'd like to bet this was a shootout between a couple of Asian collectors? Man, I hate that ebay hides the bidders <g> the bike was a good size too, but at that price, how often would you ride it, really, since so much of the value is locked up in the pristine condition of it?
This market is interesting... you might have predicted a bike like that would go high...but THAT high?
