[CR] FS: 1961 Raleigh Lenton GP

Hi Folks, I bought this Lenton GP from listmember Mark Ritz earlier this year but in an effort to offset some recent vintage bike purchases I have decided to offer it again to the list. I paid $150 for the bike but will ask $140 (recession adjustment) plus shipping. I have disassembled the bike in preperation of the restoration that did not happen so Mark said I could use his original photos which show the bike assembled. http://www.flickr.com/photos/20907128@N04/sets/72157618971890807/ As the pictures show the bike has significant "patina" but I think it could be cleaned up and assembled into a cool machine. I think that this was the last 531 bike to come out of Nottingham. It shares many parts with the following years "Blue Streak" which had a 2030 steel frame along with the 1962 Lenton. The 1961 had 531 plain gauge tubes. The rims need replacing (one is an incorrect Super Champion) and one shifter is broken. I have a set of period correct Bluemels in the correct color and shape that I could add for an additional $35. First "I will take" email gets it. Thanks for looking.
