That's one odd duck. ... "Pimp My Ride" comes to mind.

Looks like a lot of strange choices were made. I can't seem to understand the combination. Does not seem to be very well conceived for any use. Perhaps a frustrated amateur frame builder? A lot of money and time invested for a curiosity and conversation piece, so I guess he's banking on the Marque to boost and recover his investment.

_ Apparently the entire frame was re-chromed... so, why paint over the lower front forks?

_ Why add a rear rack and stay mounts on a bike which now may not fit fenders - and lacks front eyelets?

_ A fixed height brazed-on front derailleur mount for a Touring bike?

_ Solid rod rear rack looks a bit flimsy, distracting - and heavy! ... more of an artistic design exercise than a practical or sensible accessory.

_ Odd (and ugly) fitting the fastback stays to a Nervex seat lug... were the original ears (and stays) completely destroyed?

_ Red D/T decals were an ugly choice for the orange frame paint.

_ I'm wary of the oddly bored internal cable routing holes on the top tube. Looks like cable would be forced to enter and exit at VERY steep angles.

... On the other hand, some things I do like:

Brazed-on shifter bosses are nice - that is _ IF_ that chrome is not too heavy to mount shifters... and the threads were chased...

BB cable guides are good...

Bottle cage bosses are fine - just 2 would have worked for me...

I have no problem with rear brake bridge bored for a recessed nut.

The re-chrome looks very nice.

I suppose there are frustrated auto designers out there who might fabricate a vintage Pontiac GTO station wagon, too... it just would never look quite right to my eye.
