Hello Group, With all the discussion regarding badge adhesive, I must ask for your advice (even though I am afraid of the answers). Twenty years ago, before I knew better, I allowed an amateur to "restore" a vintage bicycle for me with a beautiful brass headbadge. Without asking me, he reattached the badge to the painted frame using J.B. Weld. (I have since had the bike repainted, without attempting to remove the badge). Is there a way to dissolve J.B. Weld once it has hardened? (The badge is a large wrap-around style and it is fragile). Thanks in advance.
