The more I think about it....I do now remember 'Knight' frames........not in any detail, but the brand name does sound familular.

Maybe another UK lister can add to it...........

CRs:

I bought a Knight frameset in 1976 when I was a sophmore in college. It was my first pro-level bike. I recall that my Knight frameset was made in Wolverhampton, England. I rode it for a year before buying a Richard Sachs.

To summarize my Knight: short fork rake, high bottom bracket, ie, a nice criterium bike with a high trail and a firm ride. Solid basic simple workmanship. The eBay frameset (200399884302) appears to be indentical in style to the one I owned. The eBay frameset appears to be missing the head tube decal (red K on a white diamond-shaped background.) The Knight frames I saw were always red.

I don't know anything else about the the Knight brand history.
