Oh, I don't think that that should be a problem. If you are not sentimental about the axle you just cut it between left crank arm and cup. Them remove the left hand cup and pull the crank off complete with the right hand side cup. Works like a charm and no damage to the frame; unless you are a complete dolt with an angle grinder, ...
