Hi, all, I need a stem as in the title. I'd prefer extension between 7.5 cm and 9.5 cm, and height at least 8 cm from insertion limit to the center of the handlebar but not higher than a Technomic Deluxe, 10.5 cm. A Cinelli 1A and similar stems give about 6.5 cm, and that will be too short. I don't need real great condition since this is going on a refurbishment of a 1972 UO-8, not a restoration. I mainly am building a decent beater for in-town use. I want it to fit, but beauty is low priority.
I have some experience at cutting down a 22.2 stem, and I think it is a lengthy process. I'd rather buy one first.
I'm willing to trade but I don't have much to offer that is CR-cool. A 1984 or so B72 saddle, some very early DuraAce centerpull brakes with genuine DuraAce levers with chicken wings (it's odd and even funny, but I'm serious, these are real parts!).
