Actually Norris, Meral is a brand steeped in CR legend. One of the core tales of CR lore tells how I showed up at a past Cirque with a hideous green Meral frame I'd gotten in trade from Larry Osborn, and tried to give it back to him. It past through numerous hands like a hot potato, finally going home with Chris Beyer, who appeared at the following Cirque with the frame built up with French parts and sporting sneakers and argyle socks in the same hideous green.

As Chris is sadly no longer with us, Meral now makes us think of departed friends. But more recently, we've learned that Meral really did make some nice bikes, most in tasteful colors.
