RE Stronglight 99 cranks...

My guess is that there was a brief period when Stronglight was setting up production on the model 105 cranks and the model 93 cranks were in short supply or had been discontinued. Model 99 cranks may have been substituted for 93s during that period, just a guess.

We sold a number of makes of French bikes and around 1974-75 we received some Bertins and other makes that should have had Stronglight 93 cranks but came with model 99s.

The 1st generation model 99 cranks really looked good on black bikes!

> Hi Jerry, all. I don't follow the Peugeot timeline carefully. But i've seen quite a few PX-10ish ones w/ the Stronglight 99 cranks. Usually these no longer have the Nervex Pro lugs. But many [not all] of these still had Simplex Criterium delrin derailleurs. My guess is the crank is original. Cheers, Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL USA.
