They are just bicyles MENT to be ridden NOT hung on the wall. AHMEM! The ONLY reason I ever refinish a frame is to PRESERVE it Try remove any rust problem so it will last anothy 50+ years. I have just started refinishing the 53 Rotrax that I got from Hilary It had a lot of surface rust, It also has the Bonderized rust proofing sticker on it, This process what ever that was? seemed to have done the trick! But the paint had been damage over time, It even had some of the boxlining still intact, BUT what luked benith? So I have the frame stripped of the finish, down to the bare metal, NOT to bad! As I purchased this to build up and Bloody RIDE,.I am going to see that it gets a good finish to LAST. MAYBE! YES MAYBE! Powder coat! Sacrilege right! BUT Powder coat will NOT chip or mar,and should last at least another 60 years for my kids and grandm, kids to enjoy Cheers John Crump OldmaybeIshouldgetpowdercoatedBrit, Parker. Co USA
