Matthew Bowne, assistant to the omnipotent despot of the Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen, was able to get our group invited to a lecture called "Girogirotondo, One Hundred Years of the Giro d'Italia. A History of Italy through Bicycle Heroes and Storytellers". The lecture was presented, courtesy of the Gazzetta dello Sport, in New York University's Casa Italiana on November 18th.
Thanks to Matthew, our BVVW attendees enjoyed a lecture that began with a 5-minute video presentation called: "La Curva Del Orfalle". I thought our CR list members would enjoy seeing a copy of this video, so I have uploaded it Youtube. It will be available for viewing for the next 7 days only. You can find it here:

I believe it is on-topic since it deals with the Giro in a historical way and even has a guy in a vintage wool jersey with what appears to be a historical bike appearing briefly in the first minute.
Happy holidays
