My Dura Ace AX front derailleur had a regular clamp mount for a standard size seat tube. Alas, I sold it.

I purchased an AX front changer but can't for the life of me understand how it mounts. To say it requires a special braze-on would be an understatement. Somehow the cable would need to be pulled from the non-drive side of the seat tube to operate. Can anyone out there clue me in? And, even better, can anyone provide some pictures of how it operates? BTW, The AX groupset gets my vote for weirdest ever. We could start a whole new thread on odd cable routing alone.
