Mike and Norman,

That's not quite correct. The color I created for Masi was the "California Burgandy" color. The pearlized flamboyent purple that Masi used was created by Masi painter Jim Allen. That color can still be reproduced; buy maybe not for much longer.

That was the creation of Brian Baylis who was asked by the Cal Masi factory to come up with a new color. If I remember my conversation correctly, he said it was created by using two layers of paint. So Brian can you help us out?
