Hi Kristopher, Those early bikes were built by Losa. A c.1975 Losa frame that I once had took a 27.0mm post, as seen here in the frame, but no post markings in this shot: <http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/fujifish1/MarksVintage/MarksSoldBikes/F errari_Fixed/FerrariWindows03.jpg.html>

Another Losa made frame that I currently have, c.1972, takes a 26.8mm post.

I believe these sizes are indicative of Columbus SL tubing. From what I've heard, the slight variance in I.D.s could be attributable to slight overheating of the 26.8 bike during the build, or a lack of reaming that tube for burrs before inserting the post. I've yet to build this frame, so I can't absolutely confirm the 26.8 anyway, but that's what it seems to want.

Greetings:

Can someone remind me, please, of the appropriate seatpost diameter for an early (circa 1971) Guerciotti built of Columbus SL? I believe it's either 26.6 or 26.8.

And does anyone have a post of that size, pantographed with the builder's name or logo (pre-Ten Speed Drive), which they'd care to sell?

Thanks!
